Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Questions & Answers

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are described as gel substances injected beneath the skin. Dermal fillers restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases and can enhance facial contours. Most fillers are made with Hyaluronic Acid, Calcium Hydroxyapatite, Poly-L-lactic Acid, or polymethylmethacrylate.

What should I expect during treatment?

Dermal fillers are non-surgical and completed in an office visit. First you will have a consultation to determine your cosmetic plan. During the treatment, the area will be cleaned, and you may be given a topical anesthetic to numb the area. Many fillers also contain lidocaine a mild anesthetic. After the preparation, your providers will inject a precise amount of filler beneath your skin.

When will I see results?

You should be able to notice results immediately after receiving injections.  There may be some bruising and swelling, but these are temporary and will quickly subside. You can go back to your normal activities right after treatment. You may be asked to take a break from strenuous activities like exercising.

How long do the Results Last?

The length of the treatment will depend on the products, where you are being treated, and the patient. Usually the denser the produce is and the deeper the injections are, the longer it will last. You may need repeat treatments to maintain your results.
