Microchannelling uses a handpiece with micro-fine needles that penetrate the skin into the uppermost layers and causes tiny channels. The tiny needles create minute trauma to the dermal layer of the skin causing an increase in collagen production. The procedure itself is not painful, but often you may have a lidocaine preparation smoothed over your skin to help with any pain you might feel

How is Microchanneling Different From Microneedling?
